The Stories That Shape Us

The objects we carry trough live are embedded with our personal histories. They are treasures to be cherished and shared as we move forward in our lives. In the heart of Tokyo’s Omote Sando shopping district you find Pass the Baton. This magical shop sells vintage and used items bringing them new life, each item carries a story of it’s pass along with it’s price, giving the items more to them then their physical form.

They seek to remind us that the things we own should be cherished, that we should pay attention to the objects that surround us for they are more than simple objects, they are our past and our future, a piece of our story and of the story of the person who made them. This wonderful store commands calm, and pause to think in a time where consumerism leads us to a frenzy, where feelings and care have little if any place.
